Future Horizons Autism/Asperger’s Conference in the Seattle area on Friday, December 2, at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue featuring three extraordinary, nationally-renowned speakers, including:   Dr. Temple Grandin, the noted scientist who has autism and the author of The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism and Asperger’s; Maria Wheeler, 20 year psychology, special ed, and ABA fields specialist and the author of A Treasure Chest of Behavioral Strategies for Individuals with Autism; and Jennifer Mcllwee Myers, an accomplished writer who has Asperger’s Syndrome and the author of How to Teach Life Skills to Kids with Autism or Asperger’s.

 Throughout the conference there will be an extensive resources/book table available, as well as excellent networking opportunities with other local parents/caregivers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, ABAs, counselors, special ed teachers, psychologists, physicians, social workers, etc., within the various ASD-related communities.
