
Ms. Dazell is a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with a Master's Degree in Social Work (2002), and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (2000). Ms. Dazell is a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS). Ms. Dazell has completed extensive training in the Circle of Security (COS) model of attachment and relationships and is licensed to use the COS parent training materials to teach COS to caregivers. She has been practicing as a psychotherapist since 2000 in various settings, to include nonprofit agencies and Spokane Public Schools. She specializes in individual treatment and crisis intervention. Her areas of expertise include trauma, emotional/behavioral problems, family conflict, depression, suicidal ideation, grief/loss, sexualized children/youth, and issues related to the foster care system. Ms. Dazell's clinical philosophies emphasize cultural competence and tailored treatment practices. Her professional experiences entail work with diverse populations, as well as diversity within client service provision. She also works collaboratively with the legal system, schools, physicians, and other community providers to ensure comprehensive care to clients.
